Abstract

The results of experimental investigations of thermal-erosion resistance of fiberglass plastic in a supersonic heterogeneous flow, obtained in a ground high-temperature gasdynamic stand, are used to study the resistance of the frontal surface of a hypersonic flying vehicle under conditions of flight in a dusty atmosphere with a velocity of M = 8.
