Abstract

We investigate the parameters such as the energy gains, comparisons forlinearly and circularly polarized laser fields, the electron incidentpolarization azimuth angle, the electron incident crossing angle, andthe electron incident momentum, etc., which are crucial for experimentaltest of the vacuum laser acceleration scheme in capture and accelerationscenario (CAS) [see, e.g., Phys. Rev. E 66 (2002) 066501]. Physicalexplanation of these features has been presented based on the CASscheme. The results show that all those parameters are in the reasonableranges obtainable by presently experimental facilities.
