Abstract

An advantages of lead based ferroelectrics are a high values of polarization and adiabatic temperature changes due to electrocaloric effect. In this paper dielectric properties and electrocaloric effect in ceramics based on solid solution of lead magnesium niobate-lead zinc niobate Pb((Mga8Zna2)1/3Nb2/3)O3(0.8PMN-0.2PZN) has been investigated. Values of electrocaloric effect reached 0.21 K with field change ΔE of 7 V/um.
