Investigation of core-excited quantum yield spectra of chromium, cobalt and nickel thiophosphato compounds

Abstract

The quantum yield spectra of Cr, Co and Ni dialkyldithiophosphato complexes have been measured in the regions of the P L 2,3, S L 2,3 and the L 2,3 edges of the metal atoms using synchrotron radiation and X-ray bremsstrahlung from a tungsten anode in the latter case. The fine structure depending on the core hole localization is discussed in terms of the differing coordination geometry.
