Abstract
The leading order anharmonic effects are investigated in a nuclear field theory where the reason for the inadequacy of the usual anharmonic description arises. Using the factorization theorem, the corresponding Mottelson diagrams could be handled on an equal footing. For demonstrating the influence of the so-called non-collective phonons in a nuclear field description the quadrupole moments and the crossover transitions in nickel isotopes are calculated.
