Abstract

To facilitate precise and accurate ESR read-out of dosimeters a new type of CW-mode spectrometer has been designed and developed which operates at 2.1 GHz. The computer controlled instrument uses an air-cored magnet and a modulation-detection scheme simultaneously providing the absorption and dispersion signals related to the true resonance waveforms, that allow the automated read-out of normalized intensities for precision routine dosimetry.
