Abstract

A type of precast concrete structure system with precast reinforced column, precast prestressedconcrete beam and slab was investigated. The structural details such as beam-to-column connection, column-foundation and precast slabs were firstly presented. Then the seismic performance of the system was discussed by the cyclic loading test on interior beam-to-column joints and pushover analysis of a numerical example with structural analysis software OpenSees. The analytical and experimental results shows that this precast system has following outstanding characters such as the adoption of first prestressed easily, the reduction in the height of member section, convenient construction of joints and low amount of steel usage. The hysteretic loop of beam-to-column joint is full and energy dissipation capacity of the joint is excellent. And the mode of system behavior in the post-elastic range during seismic loading is the perfect beam sidesway mechanism. It is thus concluded that this system has an excellent seismic behavior.
