Abstract

Temperature dependences of the shape of the 93Nb NMR line and the real part χ′(T) of the ac susceptibility of different-geometry (ordinary cylindrical, paired, and ring niobium filaments) multifilamentary superconducting composites based on Nb3Sn produced by “bronze” technology were measured. The intensity of each subspectra in each experimental 93Nb NMR spectrum of the composites under study was correlated with a certain type of Nb3Sn grains in the diffusion layers; in this way, the concentration of grains of the corresponding composition and morphology in superconducting layers of the composites with different geometries was estimated.
