Abstract

Discharging process through a renewable energy unit in existence of nanoparticles as additives has been simulated numerically. The estimation of properties of working material (mixture of H2O and alumina) has been done via single phase technique. Model includes two equations dominated by conduction mode because the convective rate is negligible. FEM modeling has been verified based on utilized assumptions. With dispersing nanoparticles, the rate of heat release enhances and freezing time declines about 41.18 %. With increase in dp of alumina powders from 30 to 40, the period of process reduces around 19.96 %.
