Abstract
In order to satisfied people's increasing experience requirements in video content, 4K ultra high definition (UHD) video has gradually replaced high definition (HD) video. The corresponding television (TV) production and broadcasting system is required to upgrade continuously for the TV station. This paper researches the different requirements of 4K UHD and HD video in the transmission system firstly. The differences between them from different indicators is also investigated. In addition, for the needs of the broadcasting TV industry, the paper gives the design scheme of 4K UHD video production and broadcasting system. The proposed design scheme can provide reference and guidance for different TV stations to design 4K UHD production and broadcasting system.
