Abstract
Objective To explore mastery of knowledge on daily nursing care after PICC for nursing stuff and the implementation of nursing. Methods Homemade questionnaire was used to investigate 120 nurses about mastery of knowledge on daily nursing care and the implementation of nursing after PICC.The results were analyzed. Results The average score of daily nursing care was(68.65±12.65), the score of self-evaluation and the score of observation was significant difference.Furthermore there was significant positive correlation between the knowledge score and behavior scores.Only 56.67 percent of the nurses in this group of 120 nurses get the PICC specialty training,41.67 percent of the nurses obtained PICC nurse qualification. Conclusions The daily nursing care after PICCcatheter is important measures to reduce the catheter related infections, it should strengthen the training of PICC related knowledge and skills to improve the level of nursing care and reduce the occurrence rate of infection.
