Abstract

Objective To discuss the present situation of current clinical pediatric nursing teaching, and provide theoretical basis for pediatric teaching resources integration. Methods We designed the questionnaire on the basis of qualitative research during February to May 2013, to learn the present situation of pediatrics teaching satisfaction and the demand of the resources integration among nursing students and clinical teacher in two different hospitals. Results The total score of teacher′s satisfaction in the general hospital was higher than that of special hospital (P 0.05), and the resource requirement was strong for each part but no difference between two hospitals (P>0.05). The satisfaction of nursing students in the general hospital were higher than that of the special hospital on teaching attitude, method, effect, and content (P<0.05). Conclusions Pediatric clinical manager in all hospitals should integrate teaching resource, built up cooperation relationship, and expand the clinical teaching base of pediatric nursing, and train clinical teacher standardly, so as to satisfy training of professional pediatric nurses.
