Abstract

One of the effective factors that affect human comfort and health is suitable for climatic conditions Therefore, the climate is an important part of environmental life in which entertainment and tourism are formed. The purpose of this study was to determine the calendar of the tourism areas of Ardabil province using the indicators of bioclimatic and geographic information system analysis. For this purpose, the climatic data including average daily temperature, average monthly minimum temperature, average maximum monthly temperature, average temperature, average dry temperature, relative wind speed and wind speed from 16 weather stations of the province in the 29-year (1991–2019) statistical period were analyzed by using bioclimatic methods and ArcGIS. The findings of this study showed that the most comfortable human temperatures, which attracts the most tourists, that are located in the central and western parts of Ardabil are in June, July, August and August, and in the north of Ardabil are in May, September, October and November and in the south of Ardabil province are in June, July, August, September and October, and the results of Baker’s Index are more consistent with the reality than the results of other indices studied in this study. Among the atmospheric elements studied, temperature plays an important role in health and attracting tourism in Ardabil province. According to the findings, climate research in human health comfort in the west, center, south and north of the study area in May and June is a good time for tourism.
