Abstract
ABSTRACT The study investigates the relationship between perceived organisational support and employee engagement among faculty members in public universities in Punjab, specifically focusing on the moderating impact of gender and designation. The questionnaire was distributed to 300 faculty members from selected universities, and the data was analysed using PLS-SEM. Findings indicate a positive association between POS and EE, independent of gender and employee designation. The study highlights the importance of positive perception of organizational support in boosting employee engagement. Cultivating supportive work environments allows top management to effectively reduce employee disengagement and contribute to the development of staff and the organization.
