Abstract

The study aims to identify the relationship between the humble leadership behavior (HLB) and job alienation (JA) of employees in Egyptian hotels; measure the impact of the HLB and JA of employees by using a questionnaire form as the main tool for collecting primary data and directed to a random sample of employees in these hotels. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS V25. The results showed that there is a significant correlation between HLB (Self-Awareness, Low Self-Focus, Appreciation of Others, and Teach Ability) and JA of employees, and HLB had a negative effect on JA of employees. Also, there were no statistically significant differences between the employees' opinions about JA due to the management style (chain hotels and independent hotels). The research recommends that Egyptian hotels pay attention to rooting the HLB of managers at all levels of administration and that this is one of the criteria for selecting administrative leaderships that the manager has the qualities of a humble leader. And the necessity of holding periodic training courses and workshops between managers of different administrative levels and workers of all disciplines characterized by openness and transparency to exchange views, knowledge, experience, and skills.
