Abstract

In the global competition, the asset for the organization which impels them towards the success is considered as Quality of work life. The other construct “Burnout” has received much research attention in current decade. The aim of study is to investigate the linkage among Quality of work life and Burnout in Indian IT organizations. To investigate this, a study was carried out on a sample of 350 managers employed in IT organizations in NCR region, India. The study examined the objective through factor analysis, Pearson's correlation ‘r’ and step-wise multiple regression analysis to find the impact of quality of work life on burnout. Findings points out that quality of work life have a significant negative relationship with burnout. Researchers could use the results of the study to categorize which aspect of quality of work life influence burnout most as well as put efforts towards incorporating those dimensions to reduce burnout among employees in the organization of IT industry.
