Abstract

The initial focus of our research was to study the distribution of zero in a fifth-degree exponential polynomial. Subsequently, we utilized the findings to examine the impact of toxicity on plant populations. Plant growth by separating the plant into its root and shoot compartments and analysing various factors such as structural dry weight, nutrient levels, and the presence of harmful metals in the soil. They theorize that these metals can inhibit root absorption of essential nutrients and cause structural damage. By including a time delay in the movement of nutrients from roots to shoots, researchers have been able to examine this phenomenon and its impact on the system's stability using numerical simulations in MATLAB. This analysis has also revealed a Hopf-bifurcation caused by the crucial role of time delay.
