Abstract
The dynamics of soliton-like pulses propagating in a fiber with a group velocity dispersion gradient is studied analytically in the tunnel ionization mode and with forced Raman self-scattering. The these effects are shown to mutually compensate for each other under certain conditions, resulting in signal stabilization.
