Abstract

One of the fintech products that have recorded enormous growth in Indonesia is the digital wallet. Its usage as a payment instrument becomes more popular and increasingly shifts the use of cash payment methods. Micro, Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) as the majority of business actors in Indonesia who have an essential economic role, need to be observant in seeing the advancement of financial technology. Digital wallet payment system opens new economic opportunities for MSME. This study aims to discover the intention of MSME actors in using the digital wallet payment system for their business transactions. The research was conducted at culinary MSMEs in the Tangerang region. The data analysis technique used in this study is multivariate analysis PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model). The results showed that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are factors that have a significant effect on attitudes toward use. Furthermore, the relationship between attitude and intention is significant while perceived risk reduces the level of this effect.
