Abstract

Objective To study the sub-health status of nurses and its influencing factors,in order to discuss the management measures.Methods SRSHS was used to investigate 800 nurses in 12 departments of 2 tertiary hospitals in Wuhan,and their sub-health status and influencing factors were analyzed.Results 780 valid questionnaires were recovered with the rate of 97.5%.59.5% of the 780 nurses had sub-health.The differences of sub-health status were statistically significant between nurse of different ages,educational degrees,professional titles,night shift frequencies,interests in nursing and hobbies (x2 =21.547 6,25.846 4,11.285 5,26.475 8,12.557 8,27.964 3,respectively; P < 0.01).Logistic regression analysis showed that department,educational degree,night shift frequency and interest in nursing were the influencing factors of sub-health status (P <0.05).Condusions The incidence rate of nurses' sub-health status in tertiary hospitals of Wuhan was higher.Managers should,take feasible measures according to the characteristics of different groups and departments,to reduce nurses' stress and maintain their physical and psychological health,so as to improve the efficiency and quality of nursing.
