Abstract
Based on the adaptive damping Gauss-Newton Inversion Algorithm, this paper studies the inversion method of the horizontal well boundary detection by the geo-potential electromagnetic wave measuring instrument. Based on the drilling trajectory and logging data of a real horizontal well, the simulation inversion is used to detect the position of formation boundary, and the validity of the inversion method is verified.
