Abstract
The paper reports the development and testing of microprocessor based overcurrent relays. The relay hardware, apart from a microcomputer, consists of simple circuits employing operational amplifiers. No expensive analog to digital converter is required. The time multiplier and current settings for the relays can be readily adjusted.
