Abstract
Non-selfadjoint second-order differential operators on the half-line having adiscontinuity in an interior point are studied. We establish properties of thespectrum and investigate the inverse problem of recovering the operator fromgiven spectral characteristics. For this inverse problem we prove the uniquenesstheorem, obtain a procedure for constructing the solution and providenecessary and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the inverse problem.
