Abstract

This study belongs to the field lexicography and its goal is to make the formal description of phraseological units in a corpus of curses collected among schoolchildren in the city of San Luis Potosí, México. It is based on an inventory of phrases classified as nominal, adjectival, verbal or adverbial. The method used in the study consisted of interviews with 300 respondents, 50 male and 50 female in each of the three age subdivisions, of the Mexican school system (primaria, secundaria, preparatoria).
