Abstract

Study purpose: Blood pressure is an important parameter in the assessment of the cardiovascular status in preterm infants. Invasive arterial blood pressure (IBP) is considered the “gold-standard“. Only a few studies have compared IBP vs. non-invasive (NIBP) measurements in this patient cohort. The aim of this study was to compare mean IBP and mean NIBP in preterm infants.
