Abstract
ABSTRACT Litchi has been cultivated in Italy for about two decades without showing symptoms caused by most of the phytophagous pests associated with this plant worldwide. The first record of the tiny eriophyid mite Aceria litchii in Italy and Europe is here reported, with a brief review on the knowledge on this species.
