Abstract

In this paper, we study a reaction–diffusion–advection predator–prey model with Holling type-II functional response in heterogeneous environment is considered, where the prey are subject to both random and directed movements. We show the effect of changes in diffusion rates of predator and prey on whether prey can be invaded when advection rate is small. Moreover, we show that the predator with a large advection rate is driven to extinction.
