Abstract
The problem of finding invariant algebraic relations that connect different mean estimates of measurements obtained from small samples is formulated. The classical means, such as the arithmetic, geometric, harmonic, contraharmonic, and quadratic means, are selected as the estimates for the study. Algebraic invariants that connect these means for the cases of two and three measurements are found.
