Abstract

The concept of intuitionistic fuzzy soft preference relations (IFSPR) is introduced. The proposed formalism introduces parameterization into the concept of preference relations. In addition to that, the intuitionistic fuzzy settings in IFSPR allow a decision maker (DM) to record hesitancy in his preferences. An approach is also devised to solve a multi criteria decision making problem using the proposed concept of IFSPR along with the conflicting evaluations from other sources. The usefulness of the proposed concepts and the decision making approach is shown through a case-study.
