Abstract

Agriculture plays a significant role in food production growth in India. In our region, agriculture relies on monsoons that are not an adequate source of water. Thus, in agriculture, irrigation is used. The Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovation in the advance of technology. In several areas, IOT plays a major role, one of which is farming, which in future will feed thousands of people on the planet. The aim of this paper is to solve this problem, the whole device is microcontrolled and can be run by wireless communication, so that irrigation times according to crop or soil condition do not need to be tackled. Soil parameters such as soil humidity, rainfall are measured, and pressurized sensors and sensed values are displayed on LCD. An irrigation control system was proposed for efficient water control and intruder detection. For the efficient operation of water and the identification of intruders, an irrigation control system was suggested. Soil Sensor parameters such as soil humidity, pH, humidity and sensor values are displayed on LCD. Informing the farmer via SMS and also updating the current condition in the field on the website. The farmer also has access to the server on the field, which would minimize power and time for people.
