Abstract

Serum light chain quantification (Ratio K/L = 1,83 ± 0,68) was performed in 111 patients with monoclonal dysglobulinemia (MG). Light chain typing was identical to immunoelectrophoresis and/or immunofixation in 92,7 % of cases. Associated with immunoglobulin dosage these method allowed a correct immunochemical identification of MG in 84,6 % of cases.
