Abstract
O texto clássico a seguir é importante por três razões: é de autoria de James Sully, um dos maiores filósofos-psicólogos britânicos do século XIX; apresenta uma interessante distinção entre os conceitos de ilusão e falácia; e oferece uma advertência velada sobre a eficiência epistemológica do método psicológico da introspecção.
