She is also Scholar Associate Member of the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and Honorary Member of the William Alanson White Society. Dr. Oppenheim has published more than 90 papers and authored or edited 11 books, the most recent being Imagination from Fantasy to Delusion, winner of the 2013 Courage to Dream Prize of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
