Abstract

This article introduces the section devoted to ventricular tachycardia (VT), comprising a series of thought-provoking cases. Unusual cases of idiopathic VT, VT in post-infarction cardiomyopathy and VT in valvular and dilated cardiomyopathy are presented. The cases illustrate several important points regarding the use of activation, entrainment, and substrate mapping for identifying the most appropriate sites for ablation in these cases.
