Abstract

This article offers a rationale for why efforts to further technology integration into the lives of students with learning disabilities (LD) should be considered within the ever-growing response to intervention (RTI) approach permeating prevention and intervention efforts for struggling students and those with LD. This introduction is followed by an overview of the five articles that make up this special issue of the Learning Disability Quarterly. Each article seeks to build on the previous one in order to assist the reader in understanding current and future ramifications of technology integration within the RTI framework.
