Abstract
We have the opportunity during the first week of May each year to attend the best multidisciplinary conference in the oil and gas industry. This conference and exhibition is consistently attended by more than 50 000. Don't stop reading here thinking that the OTC is only for engineers, a perception most people have because of the heavy drilling and production equipment being exhibited. The heavy equipment is an eye opener as it gives us a better perspective on the challenges our industry faces daily. Twelve sponsoring organizations (SEG included) join to organize the most well rounded technical program that you will have the opportunity to attend. This interdisciplinary collaboration allows us to discuss our leading-edge technologies with other disciplines that make up our asset teams as well as learn more of their technologies and how geophysics can enhance their results.
