Abstract
Integrating the Health Care Enterprise (IHE) is an initiative from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) to provide a test bed, demonstration and specification of how standards such as DICOM and HL7 can be used to provide an integrated environment. The definition of integration profiles is critical to this specification.
