Abstract
ABSTRACT This special issue addresses some of the many discourses related to religion and outer space with attention to the impacts that space exploration, space expansionism, and encounters with extraterrestrial life—both in the ancient past and the future—might have on religious systems. Contributions to this issue were developed from a Symposium on Space Exploration, Astrobiology, and the Future of Religion held in March 2022.
