Abstract
This special issue of Theatre Research in Canada/Recherches théâtrales au Canada (TRIC/RTAC) explores sites of contact and exchange between racial discourses in Canada and the United States. We begin with anecdotes from our vantage points as scholars of race and performance? one a US citizen living and working in Quebec, Canada, and the other a Canadian citizen living and working in San Francisco, USA.
