Abstract

Notulae Botanicae Horti Agrobotanici Cluj-Napoca (NBHA), Issue 1, Volume 48, 2020: The papers published in this issue Vol 48 No 1 (2020) represent new exciting researches in different topics of life science, respectively in plant science, horticulture, agronomy and crop science. Among the interesting articles we invite you to find news about Piriformospora indica: a root endophytic fungus and its roles in plants; the chloroplast localization of protease mediated by the potato rbcS signal peptide and its improvement for construction of photorespiratory bypasses; biochemical profile, selective cytotoxicity and molecular effects of Calendula officinalis extracts on breast cancer cell lines; expression of Human papillomavirus type 52 L1 capsid gene in Oryza sativa involved in cytoprotective activities; comparative study of the ethanol extracts of six Acinos Miller species: chemical composition, antimicrobial and antioxidative activities; content in organic acids of Mespilus spp. and Crataegus spp. genotypes; in vitro embryo rescue for the production of hypotetraploids after cross between hypotetraploid and tetraploid grape cultivars etc. Notulae Botanicae Horti Agrobotanici Cluj-Napoca journal has moved to online-only publication at the start of 2017; beginning in 2019, the journal appears quarterly. At the same time, we maintain our standard publication, as printed form, with ‘classic’ style - volume, issue, pagination.
