Abstract
The progress on the implementation of the Pilot BT ISDN is reviewed, together with BT plans for the evolution of the ISDN beyond the Pilot. The evolution relates to the expansion of the service to give a national coverage and the progressive implementation of CCITT Recommendations and European standards.
