Abstract
The RCPAQAP introduced a Sickling Test External Quality Assurance (EQA) Program in 2022. The program is designed for screening and confirmatory methods for Haemoglobin S, and is suitable for solubility, reduced oxygen and ICT/kit-based methods. We sought to review the returned results from the first two surveys to determine any potential method differences.
