Abstract

The aviation industry, which is faced with a fierce global competition, is expected to become one of the major industries in Japan. Thus, students who major in aeronautics are required to obtain not only a wide range of knowledge but also practical skills in order to play an active role in the aviation segments. To this end, Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics of the University of Tokyo started a new program that introduced a business simulation and the negotiation theory to aeronautics education. This paper discusses the details of the program, its purpose and results, as well as the future works.
