Abstract

This essay introduces the articles found in this special joint issue of Post-45 and the Journal of Cultural Analytics, “Post-45 by the Numbers.” It foregrounds the affordances of computational methods for the study of contemporary culture and literature, and offers brief summaries of each of the eight essays that follow in this special issue.
