EDITORIAL The South African Gastroenterology Review - August 2003 1 Introducing the SA Gastroenterology Review This is the first edition of the South African Gastroenterology Review. Its aim is to publish articles pertinent to the practising gastroenterologist in South Africa. The target audience is the broad spectrum of clinicians who have an interest in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology. We plan to highlight current best medical practice as this is universally applicable.
