Abstract

The editors describe the purpose of the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy in its inaugural issue: to further the understanding of basic sciences as applied to musculoskeletal conditions and to promote justification of clinical procedures in orthopaedics and sports medicine. JOSPT also intends to be a communications forum for all physical therapists and related medical practitioners in the areas of orthopaedics and sports medicine.
