Abstract

Former Editor-in-Chief of Indoor Air, Bill Nazaroff, implemented an editorial model with 10 Associate Editors in 2013.1, 2 Since then, our relatively large editorial team has helped the journal to access a diverse group of reviewers, authors, and readers in the fields of indoor environment and public health. Our Associate Editors, who were selected for their expertise in their specific fields, are working closely with the Editor-in-Chief to identify submitted manuscripts that fall within the scope and meet the standards of the journal. This model has enabled the editorial team to manage most submitted manuscripts with the right expertise and has worked extremely well for our multidisciplinary journal. The journal has benefited from the outstanding expertise, professional service, and academic leadership of its editors. Our Associate Editors have offered their valuable time to the indoor air science community and have helped the journal to maintain its traditionally high standards. Eight Associate Editors will continue to serve for the journal: Geo Clausen (Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, since 2013), Richard L. Corsi (Portland, USA, since 2013), Glenn C. Morrison (Chapel Hill, USA, since 2013), Jordan Peccia (New Haven, USA, since 2014), Tiina Reponen (Cincinnati, USA, since 2013), Tunga Salthammer (Braunschweig, Germany, since 2013), Huey-Jen (Jenny) Su (Tainan, Taiwan, since 2007) and Junfeng (Jim) Zhang (Durham, USA, since 2013). Before I started as Editor-in-Chief in February 2018, I had personally served as an Associate Editor of the journal since 2007. It is now my great pleasure to introduce five new Associate Editors who have joined our team since November 2018.
