Abstract
The Engaged Scholar Journal's second issue “Quality of Life: Towards Sustainable Community Futures” highlights, once again, Canada’s rich and diverse scholarship of community-university collaborations in research, teaching, and learning. We thank our guest editors, Isobel M. Findlay and Nazeem Muhajarine, for taking intellectual and conceptual leadership in the production and development of this strong collection of timely essays that together focus and advance the idea of communities’ quality of life. ‘Quality of life’ is a broadly defined term used in qualitative and quantitative research in various areas of applied scholarship that focus on community development, health, human resources, leisure, and other areas of human life.
