Abstract

The use of economic-mathematical methods and computer equipment in the planning and management of the national economy has left the experimentation stage. At present economic -mathematical methods are already being used in elaborating plans for the development of the individual branches, and the results of the computations are beginning to be embodied in the specific indices of the national economic plans. Progress in this field will become even more obvious if we compare the state of affairs today with what it was five years ago.
