Abstract

Polarization-Sensitive Photodetectors High-performance polarization-sensitive organic photodetectors with a linear dichroic ratio as high as 1.9 are successfully developed by Huanli Dong, Zhongming Wei, Liqiang Li, Wenping Hu, and co-workers, as described in article number 2105665, utilizing the intrinsic anisotropic nature of organic semiconductor single crystals. These devices show new opportunities for using organic semiconductors to develop highly compact polarization-sensitive photodetectors in diverse applications, and open up a new area for the study of organic semiconductors.
